This Customization Policy applies to customization, setup, modification, integration, and related service requests made through store.webbycrown.com (“WebbyCrown Store”), which is owned and operated by WEBBYCROWN SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED.

This policy explains how customization services are handled for products purchased from WebbyCrown Store and for related service requests handled by WebbyCrown.
By requesting, purchasing, approving, or using any customization service from WebbyCrown Store or WebbyCrown, you agree to this Customization Policy.
1. What Customization Means
For the purpose of this policy, “customization” includes any paid work requested beyond the standard documented functionality of a product sold through WebbyCrown Store, including but not limited to:
- product modifications;
- feature adjustments;
- design or layout changes;
- workflow changes;
- custom configuration;
- third-party integrations;
- installation and setup execution;
- implementation assistance; and
- project-specific development related to a purchased product.
Customization is a separate paid service and is not included in the standard purchase price of any product unless explicitly stated otherwise on the relevant product page or quotation.
2. Direct Purchase Scope and External Products
This Customization Policy applies to customization services requested directly through store.webbycrown.com or directly through WebbyCrown unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Some products displayed on WebbyCrown Store may also be listed with external purchase links that redirect customers to third-party marketplaces or platforms for purchase. Such products are not sold directly through store.webbycrown.com unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Where customization is requested for a product purchased through a third-party marketplace or platform, WebbyCrown may review the request separately and may accept or decline the work at its discretion. Any third-party platform terms, licensing restrictions, access limitations, refund rules, support structure, or other applicable rules may still apply to that product.
WebbyCrown Store is not responsible for the licensing terms, refund handling, support rules, access periods, update rules, or policy enforcement of products purchased through third-party platforms unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3. Scope of Work
All customization work is based on the specific requirements approved between the customer and WEBBYCROWN SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED.
The approved scope may be defined through one or more of the following:
- written email discussion;
- support or inquiry forms;
- a quotation or estimate;
- a requirement document;
- a project brief;
- a task list; or
- any written confirmation of agreed deliverables.
Only the items clearly approved in writing form part of the customization scope.
4. What Is Not Included by Default
Unless clearly included in the approved quotation or scope, customization services do not automatically include:
- unlimited revisions;
- new feature development beyond approved scope;
- third-party software purchases;
- hosting, server, or DevOps administration;
- content entry or migration;
- SEO work;
- copywriting or media preparation;
- ongoing maintenance beyond agreed scope;
- post-delivery support beyond the purchased support or customization arrangement; or
- future compatibility updates unless separately agreed.
5. Requirement Approval
Customization work will begin only after:
- requirements are sufficiently defined and approved;
- required technical details or access are provided;
- the applicable quotation, estimate, or scope has been accepted; and
- the required payment has been received according to the agreed payment model.
If the provided requirements are incomplete, unclear, or change materially after approval, the timeline and cost may also change.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms depend on the size and complexity of the customization work.
Small Customizations
Small customization projects may require 100% upfront payment before work begins.
Larger Customizations
Larger customization projects may be billed on either:
- 50% upfront and 50% before final delivery, or
- a milestone-based payment structure, depending on project scope and complexity.
No work is required to begin until the applicable initial payment has been received.
If milestone-based payment is agreed, continued work may depend on timely payment of each milestone.
7. Scope Changes and Additional Work
Any request made after scope approval that adds, removes, or changes the originally agreed functionality, design, workflow, integration, or deliverables will be treated as a scope change.
Scope changes may result in:
- revised timelines;
- revised pricing;
- additional payment requirements;
- updated technical assumptions; and
- delayed delivery until the revised scope is approved.
WebbyCrown is not obligated to perform out-of-scope work without separate approval and payment.
8. Revision Policy
Customization service includes only those revisions reasonably required to align the delivered work with the approved scope.
This means:
- revisions are intended to correct deviations from the agreed deliverables; and
- revisions do not include new requirements, expanded functionality, additional design directions, or new change requests.
Any request beyond the approved scope may require a separate quotation and additional payment.
9. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure smooth delivery, the customer is responsible for:
- providing accurate and complete requirements;
- sharing necessary content, credentials, licenses, and technical access on time;
- reviewing work and providing feedback within a reasonable period;
- maintaining backups before work begins where applicable;
- ensuring lawful use of all materials, data, and third-party systems provided to us; and
- responding promptly to clarification requests.
Delays in customer feedback, approvals, access, or required materials may affect project timelines and delivery commitments.
10. Timelines and Delivery
Any timeline provided for customization work is an estimate unless otherwise expressly stated in writing.
Delivery timelines depend on factors including:
- scope complexity;
- timely access sharing;
- customer response speed;
- technical dependencies;
- third-party platform limitations;
- compatibility conditions; and
- approval turnaround.
Delays caused by the customer, third-party systems, or changing requirements may extend the delivery timeline without creating liability for WEBBYCROWN SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED.
11. Acceptance of Work
Customized work will be considered accepted upon the earliest of the following:
- written approval by the customer;
- deployment to or use on a live website, live application, or live business environment by the customer; or
- 7 days of no feedback after delivery, demo, or completion notice, provided the customer has been given a reasonable opportunity to review the work.
Once accepted, any further changes may be treated as a new paid request unless they relate to a genuine deviation from the approved scope identified within the applicable review period.
12. Refunds for Customization Work
Customization work is a separate service and is generally non-refundable.
This includes, without limitation:
- custom development work;
- product modifications;
- installation and setup execution;
- implementation services;
- integration work; and
- project-specific changes performed on request.
No refund will be issued for customization services once work has started, resources have been allocated, technical planning has been completed, delivery has begun, or the agreed service has been performed in whole or in part.
If a customization project is paused, abandoned, or delayed due to customer-side inactivity, changed priorities, unavailable access, or lack of response, amounts already paid remain non-refundable for work already performed or scheduled.
13. Support After Customization
Customization does not automatically include unlimited future support.
Unless separately agreed in writing, post-delivery handling is limited to:
- reasonable clarification related to the approved customization; and
- correction of issues where the delivered work does not match the approved scope.
Future enhancements, additional change requests, new integrations, compatibility updates, or ongoing maintenance may require a new quotation or separate support/service arrangement.
Any support or post-delivery assistance for products purchased through third-party platforms may also be subject to the applicable terms of that platform or seller.
14. Relationship With Base Product License
Where customization relates to a product purchased from WebbyCrown Store, the original product remains subject to the applicable:
Customization does not remove or replace the original licensing restrictions for the underlying product.
Customers may not use customization as a basis to resell, redistribute, or sublicense the base product or derived product package outside the permitted license scope.
15. Intellectual Property and Reuse Rights
Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, the customer receives the right to use the delivered customization for the intended licensed project or business use.
However, WEBBYCROWN SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED retains ownership of:
- its pre-existing tools, frameworks, methods, utilities, structures, libraries, and reusable code;
- general know-how, techniques, workflows, and non-confidential implementation logic;
- internal development methods and reusable components; and
- any non-exclusive concepts or approaches that are not uniquely confidential to the customer.
This means the customer may use the delivered work for the approved project, but WebbyCrown retains the right to reuse its general skills, know-how, approaches, and non-confidential reusable technical elements in other projects, provided no confidential customer-specific information is improperly disclosed.
16. Third-Party Dependencies
Customization may involve or depend on third-party software, APIs, plugins, modules, themes, hosting environments, or external services.
We are not responsible for delays, limitations, or failures caused by:
- third-party platform restrictions;
- unavailable APIs or changing API rules;
- unsupported third-party software;
- deprecated third-party functionality;
- server restrictions;
- third-party version conflicts; or
- licensing limitations imposed by third-party providers.
Any third-party costs, purchases, or service dependencies are separate unless explicitly included in the approved quotation.
Where the underlying product was purchased through a third-party platform, any platform-specific restrictions, licensing conditions, access rules, or dependency limitations imposed by that platform may continue to apply.
17. Right to Decline Requests
We reserve the right to decline any customization request at our discretion, including where:
- the request falls outside our technical or commercial scope;
- the request may violate law, platform rules, or third-party rights;
- the requested outcome is not reasonably achievable;
- the product or environment is too unstable or unsuitable for reliable work; or
- the customer engages in abusive, misleading, or inappropriate conduct.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WEBBYCROWN SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from customization work, including loss of profit, loss of business, downtime, data loss, delay, or third-party incompatibility.
Our total liability for a specific customization engagement shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the customer for that specific customization work giving rise to the claim.
19. Policy Updates
We may update or modify this Customization Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes become effective once posted on store.webbycrown.com.
It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically.
